"500 Over 140.6" Honor Roll is just a week old and is quickly closing in on its goal of collecting the names of 500 cancer fighters, survivors, and souls. The good news, if you can call it that, is the goal of 500 names will be met. The bad news is that the goal will be met. Cancer is so common we all have been touched by it.Although the initial goal was set to collect 500 names of honorees there is a secondary goal to take with me as many names as possible. I'll carry a suitcase of names if I that's what it takes.
Let's push the number of names way above the goal. Allow me to honor those you know by racing Ironman Wisconsin in their name. Let's spread the word.
Become a "500 Over 140.6" Ambassador.
How? Here are some ideas:
Blog about it. Do you post to a blog? Give a short mention of the "500 Over 140.6" Honor Roll and hyperlink back to my blog.
Comment about it. Do you read the blogs of others? Leave a comment on their blog and a link to the Honor Roll.
Post a message on a forum about it. Do you read and post to a forum about triathlon, swimming, biking, running, or cancer patient support? After posting on these two forums the Honor Roll grew by over 100 names in less that a day.
Be sure to let me know when you do any or all of these things and I'll recognize you as a Charter "500 Over 140.6" Ambassador.
