It's Within Reach

The "500 Over 140.6" Honor Roll is almost at 500 names. (499 as of my writing.) Each fighter, survivor, and soul I carry with me during Ironman Wisconsin will be supported and remembered for their struggle. I dedicate the race to them for it will be their day to overcome, their hope to hold, and their fight to join.

(To add a name please use the "Honor Roll" applet on the sidebar below my photo.)

Let's not loose sight that they are the reason I'm racing. I am just an instrument in the national debate on how to best use the resources to stop these pervasive diseases that touch every family in America. Advocacy for all patients, cancer prevention, and a cure is within our reach but only if we have the courage and conviction to start something big today, not tomorrow.

This weekend, seven-time Tour de France champion, Lance Armstrong was interviewed by Tim Russert on "Meet the Press" about his 2008 Livestrong Presidential Forums. Click here or Lance's photo to watch the interview.

Stay tuned...
