Now, THAT's Hot

Yesterday afternoon I rode with my mighty tri-gang and the thermometer on my bike computer read 103!

Ugh.

Let me tell you how hot it was...

It was so hot I saw a squirell using a fan to keep his nuts cool.

Stay tuned...

Squirrels using fans, that's not hot.

(In best, "Old man with a story about everything voice")...

"Why, I once went through a spell where it was so hot, M&Ms didn't melt in your mouth, they melted in the bag."

That's hot. BTW, thermometer on cycling computer??? For the geek in me, I'd be concerned that it was showing hot due to direct sun and lack of true air cooling.

Of course, I'm too poor to afford such a fancy computer. Mine just has a little dude asking passing cars how fast they're going, and estimates my speed from that. For temps, he goes, "Dam, it's hot."

I need one of those gadgets for my wrist! Why doesn't Garmin tell me the temp?????

Hope you are doing better today - your last post was beautifully written.

Ha ha ha! Love the squirrel pic! Squirrels were my college sorority's "mascot" so that picture is quite appropriate. :)

It was brutal here yesterday. 78 and no oxygen. Sucks to be me.(if I could make a living in the rockies, I'd never come back.
