If you haven’t heard, she and her training partner, Elizabeth (EpiTri) produce the In Transit: 2 Triathletes Take on the World podcast. We joined about twenty Team in Training triathletes for a group ride. Cara and I chatted it up with Katie (she just returned from St. Croix 70.3), FatMan (he recently completed Ironman Arizona, his first), and Carlos “The Birthday Boy”. It was a quick and windy 18 miles around White Rock Lake.
Cara’s no slouch on the bike. She’s got some game on the hills with a smooth and fast in-the-saddle cadence. Look out podium, she’s on her way.
Today’s schedule calls for an hour swim in the morning and an hour run at lunch. Tonight, I’ll be sitting in the audience proudly watching my ten year old daughter dance in her spring recital.
Maaan, life is good.
