You Talkin' to ME??

Ever get an email and ask yourself, "Did they send this to the right address?" I'm not talking about those little gems of cyber opportunity to buy my drugs direct from Canada, refinance my home guaranteed, cure my baldness, or grow a larger... ummm... bigger... err... I bet you know what I'm referring to. Anywho... how do the spammers know these things about me? Hmmm... I digress.

No, I'm talking about the email I received yesterday letting me know my blog is one of the 10 nominees for the RaceAthlete Best Blog of 2007. Just one read of the other nine blogs and it's easy to understand why THEY were nominated, but mine? There's nothing like being overwhelmed and feeling a bit out of place. I sort of feel like a ho in church, but again I digress. (Did I type that out loud?)

First, I want to thank all of you that nominated my little corner of blogland. It truly is an honour to be a part of such a super group of bloggers. Secondly, I'm asking for your vote. You can vote not just for TriBoomer.com but for two other blogs as well. To cast your ballot, go HERE, see the full list of nominees and the place to vote. Why am I begging for your vote? Simply, if my blog wins the positive news will be a huge boost in getting the word out for my cancer fighting fundraising. And that's no laughing matter.

So, while you're voting I'll go back to training and reading my spam. Who knows, maybe I really can get my hair back in just a week.
