How to Get a Kewl Light Saber

Step One

Take a pile of big and heavy rocks...
add couple of Cub Scouts...
and stir things up with a dash of five-time triatlon finisher, "The Mighty TriBuddy,"

and have fun until the pile of rocks fall, and...
somebody gets a broken thumb.

Step Two

TriBuddy, meet the doctor....

Doctor, meet TriBuddy...

Preeeee-zent thumb.

Put the hand in a gauze glove...

Doctor: "Does it hurt when I press on your hand?"

TriBuddy: "A little. I'm OK."

Add the permanent cast. Glow-in-the-Dark, of course...

TriBuddy, "Dad, does this really glow in the dark?

"Yes, it sure does."

"Dad, will I have the cast for Halloween?"

"You sure will."

TriBuddy, "Coool. It's my Light Saber."

**Wuuumff... Wuumff... (light saber sounds)**

All done.

Step Three

Signatures!

Stay tuned...

Glow in the dark??? How cool is that? Why, I'll bet that even speeds healing!

for some reason I envision lights-out saber fighting sessions punctuated with the sounds of crashing lamps and broken lightbulbs. Have fun!
