The bike is ready and racked,
and transition bags are numbered and packed.
The training is complete,
and now I'm in my room and off of my feet.
The training is over and done,
all that's left to do is swim, bike and run.
Before 17 hours have come and gone,
just finishing the race and I will have won.
Look for me on Ironman.com on the internet,
and see if my Ironman goal has been met.
Athlete number 1654 will be on my chest,
be I finish or be I fall... rest assured I gave it my best.
With over 500 names at my side,
emotions spill over like the tide.
It's for them that I run this race,
with honor, respect and all of God's grace.

Hey..I was there at the meet up today but my wife and I did not get a chance to say Hi to you. Good Luck tomorrow. We will be on the course to cheer all the bloggers on.
