2007 Schedule

Whad'up 'BoomerNation!

It's a just a week into the New Year and high time to post my races for 2007. So here they are:

The Texas Half Marathon ... February 10
Big D-Texas Half Marathon ... April 1
MS 150 Houston to Austin ... April 21
Wildflower Half Ironman ... May 6
Kings Trail International Triathlon (Maui, Hawaii) ... June 10
Ironman 70.3 Buffalo Springs Lake ... June 24
Whirlpool Steelhead 70.3 ... August 4
Ironman Wisconsin ... September 9
Longhorn Half Ironman ... October 7
Tri One 0 One... November 11

It's an ambitious schedule, no doubt, and one that will provide chances for fabulous memories ... wonderfully spirited memories.

If you're going to be at any of the events, let me know. I'd hate it if we miss each other. Also, along with my racing gear I'll bring my recording equipment. Who knows? ... You just may end up on the Get Your Geek On! podcast news report.

Stay tuned...

Well, so far it looks like we will both be riding in the MS150. I will be riding with Team Clear Channel and some of my TNT friends.

Your schedule looks fun. Good luck to you. I am sure you will do great!!

Sounds like a great schedule. A tough one especially after IMWI. I will see out there at IMWI.

Happy training.

I will be at Steelhead--that is if my confirmation ever comes through! It will also be my first 70.3, so that is my focus for the year. Looking forward to meeting up!

That IS an ambitious schedule!!! I'm leaning towards running the 1/2 at Big D but probably just for training because I may do my first tri a week later :-)

What a fantastic schedule! Very ambitious, but I guess all the races will feel a bit easier without pneumonia.

Boomer, let's try to stay away from any respiratory infections or major fevers for the 2007 season. K?

:)

Be well...

Dang, dude. You race a LOT.

I'll caddy at Texas 101, and if I heal up proper, we'll do Houston to Austin in one day.

No full marathons? Hmmmm.....

I did the Big D full marathon a few years ago. It is a pretty route. I just hope they are a bit more organized. The start that year went something like this: announcer: "I think they're getting ready to start. No wait I think it just startd. . . go."

I officially am coming down with a case of race envy. I tired just thinking of all of the training and traveling. Boomer we'll have to hook up for Longhorn and chat it up.

Godspeed on a great 2007!
