257 + 1 Finished Ironman Florida 2006

'BoomerNation, Ironman Florida is done.

Wow.

I mean, WOW!

There's so much to write about and so little time because there's so much to do here at home and work. I will post a full report and give you the skinny on an epic and monumental day.

I took 257 names of those fighting, surviving, or have passed away from cancer across the finish line in 14 hours and 36 minutes. This is only one of many things that stand out about the Ironman Florida experience. It is also the thing I am most proud about the day.

Stay tuned...

You should be proud of your accomplishment. I know there are a lot of people both in and out of the TBC who are proud of you.

I hope that any and all race reporting takes a back seat to ensuring your health is good (i.e. the x-rays you promised your doctor you'd get).

It was such and awesome thing to meet you and your wife! and to race together-the only sad moment was saying goodbye and realizing there is never enough time to spend with the good people placed in your life. Hope to do it again soon!

Hey Boomer - great meeting you and J at IM - you guys are awesome! THanks so much for adding Coach John's name to your list of TNT honored patients for your race.
I set up my blog, but still need to, like REALLY set it up. So keep checking.
Can't wait for the next big race/ reunion!

Boomer, thanks again for carrying all those names. They might have helped you get to the finish line, but you might be helping to save their lives. Congratulations on a job well done!
